Yester-day i spent one hour at my local dealer, sorting out some of the stuff he just brought from clearing storage.
I managed to get my hands on some mojo caps ☆
He said i am the man who whispers to capacitors. Ahaahahaha
After the fuzzface, this was the second pedal i perfboarded more than one year ago when i started building guitar effects.
Today i got together a vero board version.
This is it.
I have not decided which trannies to use yet….my early build had ac128s. And it sounded ok..
We shall see then..
Yup there it goes again…this time i used the original transistors, C536.

And clip using a Danelectro & Elkatone 610 leslie amp (low volume…):
My fy2 companion fuzz build.
Caps: Cornell Dubilier, a funky red n black orange drop, Sprague, that sboring blue Philips electro, Mullard, some italian Polypropylene, you name it. It’s the bees knees!
Recorded three clips using alternatively 2N5088, 2N5089, 2N2222..very little difference between them!
Danelectro going into a (low volume) Elkatone 610 solid state leslie.
Check them out on my soundcloud:
Cute auto wah with lots of flexibility (attack, decay, sensitivity ♡, Q).
Layout found on Sabrotone (cheers).
Real sweet and candylike.
I loooove Light Dependant Resistors!
Boxed with Super Mario stickers…
And heres the video:
Check my audio clips at soundcloud..
I tried to use the same pattern on every clip so that you will be able to concentrate on the tone… i am not really a guitarist.
Used a jag>ac4tv 10″
I gave as a gift a bunch of Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster to some friends..
I branded them with a Cortina (famed, rich, skiing and lounging dolomitean village of the northern italian uppercrust) sticker.
Classic booster, classic location.
in one case, it was given as a (laugh) KIT!
My friend Enrico had it with a bigger value variable resistor (knob), so that he could dial it to fuzzy edges.
He said it is ‘too dirty’ for him (argh).
I called it STP-and badged it appropriately.
heres’s my rangemaster transistor tester
